"My daughter was 4 years old when we found Columbia Academy. She had been having a VERY difficult time… period. We had been to ALL the most respected preschools around and none were working for her.

Columbia Academy was the first place where the teacher sat down, listened to her issues, difficulties, etc. and told us point blank... we can help! Within the first month, I noticed a distinct change for the better. Our usual morning scramble stopped being a battle. It was so wonderful to see her excited for school! It was like a light had been lit, she found a pride in herself through this school. The teachers are kind, patient and strict. The more she learned, the happier she became. This child has become so full of the love of learning, I am simply amazed!

My daughter is now 9 years old, has learned to LOVE learning and appreciate that the education is HERS to use. She has excelled at all aspects of her education and was actually able to skip a grade level.

We were so impressed, we pulled another (older) child out of a VERY good public school system (West Linn) in order to give her the opportunity to gain the love of learning and intangible benefit of life long learning skills. We have gained a calm in our lives; where once there was anxiety and frustration, now there is a calm understanding of what needs to be done and how exactly to do it! I only wish I would have found them sooner for my teenager!"
