Fun Stuff!

Students work hard at Columbia.  We make sure they get to play hard, too!

From our annual Halloween Costume Contest and Party to our dress-up themes such as Alien Day, Medieval Day and Crazy Glasses Day, there's never a dull moment around here.

Linda's Cookie Monday class is always cooking up something tasty and her Theater class often entertains the older students with a play.

Cookie Monday is so fun!

Plays are so much fun

Michele keeps the rainy day game shelf well stocked with board games, building toys and strategy games, and students work hard to earn free time!

Weekly arts and crafts are a big hit; who doesn't love to squish some clay, get their fingers around a paintbrush, or plunge into some plaster or paper mache?

We sculpt, batik, quilt, make ice cream and candy, tie-dye T-shirts, toss eggs at each other and eat pie with no hands!  Okay, we only do those last two things on Field Day.  And it gets messy!

Field Day pie-eating contest!

School isn't all about academics.  It's also about living and laughing with your friends, and we do plenty of that here.

"When my child wanted to attend Winter Workshop at Columbia Academy, rather than enjoy the holiday vacation at home with her family, we knew we had found an exceptional school for her."

Cooling off on a hot day!
