"Columbia is like a second home for my girls."

"Columbia Academy has been a wonderful experience for all three of my daughters. My two oldest girls started when they were just preschoolers and are now 16 and 18. My youngest is now 10, and also started when she was just a little girl. She is in the 6th grade, and loving it.

My two older daughters received such a wonderful foundation at Columbia and my youngest is still reaping its rewards. They all speak so highly of the teachers and staff. The two older ones often visit just to say hello. They have all told me over and over that Columbia is not only a school; it's like a second home. They have such fond memories of all of their experiences. I never imagined that I could find a school that excited my children about their education and made them feel so safe and cared for. It's every parent’s dream.

Sadly, my older daughters moved on to a public education in middle school due to finances. Although they both did very well academically because they were so far ahead, they did not experience the care they received at Columbia. They have both expressed through the years how fortunate they feel about their education up through the 6th grade and only wished that Columbia Academy went up through high school. What they both feel is missing in the public system is the care factor. They were shocked that many of the students did not understand what ethics and integrity were all about and how important they are to a student's success. This was such a basic part of what was taught at Columbia that it was rather shocking to the both of them. However, they were able to use the tools they received and succeed, and help their friends, too.

I'm very proud of my daughters and very thankful that Columbia Academy was there to care for and educate them."
